How much do your candles cost?
All of the regular size, boxed candles cost £10 each regardless of fragrance. We also have larger candles that come unboxed but cased in a black glass jar and these cost £12 each regardless of fragrance.
Will you introduce any other fragrances?
We have plans to introduce new scents in future, if there is any particular scent that you like send me a message and I will see what I can do.
Are your candles vegan/cruelty free?
Yes. All of our candles are handmade using eco soy wax instead of beeswax, and are made of natural and environmentally friendly ingredients. We are also trying to make sure our package is as eco conscious as possible.
How long does shipping take?
We post all of our candles via Second Class Royal Mail delivery, therefore you can expect your order to arrive between 3-5 days once despatched.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Because shipping parcels via Royal Mail is calculated based on weight, we have to add a small 'additional item charge' for every additional candle.
E.g. If you're buying one candle, shipping is a flat rate of £3.20. Every other candle after this carries an additional 40p to cover the charges incurred due to added weight. Therefore if you buy two candles, shipping will be £3.60, or three candles will be £4.00. It's not ideal, but it's the only way to make shipping economical on our side. We hope to revisit this in future.
How much stock do you have? How long does it take to restock?
As you can imagine, Jo At Home Candles is a small start-up business and thus our stock levels are relatively small whilst we gauge public interest However, we aim to ensure that we have a constant flow of products for you all to enjoy, and have calculated that we can make approximately 40 candles per day. However, our suppliers may have stock issues which may in turn delay our process. So, we politely ask you to bear with us whilst we take our first baby steps.
